Welcome to Oak Hill Christian Church
Hello! Welcome to the Oak Hill website. I’m glad you have come to “check us out.” Hopefully, this will be a first step for you so that you can find out about the people and happenings at Oak Hill. The Oak Hill family is made up of people just like you. We have people from Flatwoods, Kendrick, Counce, Southside and other communities in Tennessee, as well as people that come from Corinth, Booneville, Burnsville and other communities throughout northeast Mississippi.
All these people have something in common. They have a need-the same need as everyone else-the need to find out what their purpose is in this world and how to find our niche in it all.
Everyone is “betting on” or putting their hope in something. A Muslim is putting their hope in the teachings of Mohammed and their god, Allah. A Buddhist places their trust in Buddha, an atheist believes there is no God and so on. Everyone isn’t right.
At Oak Hill we place our hope in Jesus, the Christ, the One and only Son of God, as we read about in the Holy Bible. Jesus is the Savior of the world. Jesus says in the Bible about himself, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father (God) except through me.” (John 14:6, the Bible) Jesus says that He is the only way to the Father (God). Jesus says that He is truth. Jesus says that He is life.
At Oak Hill we point people to the God of the Bible so that they can learn about who Jesus is and His purpose for their lives. Everyone has a purpose. We believe that purpose is to love the Lord our God with all our heart, with all our mind, with all our soul and with all our strength. And to love our neighbor. So, please continue to “check us out” and most of all continue to check Jesus out. To know more about Jesus read the Holy Bible. Also, as Christians at Oak Hill and around the world we hope we are pointing people to Jesus through the lives we are living and by telling people about the Savior of the world, JESUS!

In essential beliefs - we have UNITY.

We accept the Bible as the final authority for all matters of faith and
